The Mushroom
Tasked to create a space for a rooftop garden, I formed a space with a variety of textures and colours, bringing a fantastical world to life
The floors would be made of foam, so you sink in and let the space envelope you.
The walls wrapped in a string like material concealing any idea of where you might be in the building
Branches cast over the space, allowing for a fantastical and woodland experience.
The main feature of this space are the acrylic mushrooms, a hard texture to contrast with so much soft. They allow you to sit on them or below them or both. A place to contemplate and be taken to another dimension.
